John Kimmance is Managing Director of National Mapping Services. His teams ensure that the Public Sector receives the data, services and support it needs from Ordnance Survey, the National Mapping Services provider. He is focused on delighting Public Sector organisations through meeting and exceeding both today’s and future needs.
John is also responsible for Ordnance Survey’s 400+ Channel Partners, providing commercial markets access to and benefit from Ordnance Survey’s wealth of geospatial data through both distribution and value-added services.
Drawing on his wide experience, Geology degree from University College London, MBA from Exeter University and the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma, he also sits on the Board of GeoPlace, a joint venture partnership between Ordnance Survey and Local Government Association and has, until recently, been a Non-Executive Director on the Met Office Board.
